Rant and Raves

May 10, 2009 at 9:52 am (behind these dark asian eyes, photograpghy) ()

what a bright sunny day to start with… *yawns* look at that fluffy cloud… I want to poke a finger at that…

I’m still entoxicated with benny lava’s “May he poop”  last song heard syndrome… Noooooo! I just wanna get over it…

So I’m on digital slr hunt… its gotta be nikon d90 over canon eos 50d. Although the eos boasts 3Mp higher, the d90 is ok for a beginner like me. The price is a little softer and what I love about it is that it is the 1st ever digital slr to shoot HD resolution video… *saliva drips*

Looking at the photography portfolio in my tablet makes me dreamy again (listens to Utada’s Beautiful World). And yeah, I wanna share the images of prominent places in Japan (mentioned during class). I don’t know, just looking at these photos makes me so… (cant explain, its beyond words)

the Kinkaku-Ji Castle in Kyoto… I got this photo from the net… I dont know who owns this but whoever you are, your photos are life changing…

Kinkakuji Temple, Kyoto, JapanLook at that golden glow… the picture doesn’t look so real… I mean I can’t believe how human can create a beauty like that…

Kinkaku-ji Temple, Kyoto, Japan

the Himeji-Jo Castle… (its like the real world castle of Saber Marionette)… its like a snow dragon cursed to be a castle…

Himeji Castle, Himeji, Japan

behind the cherry blossoms….

Himeji-jo Castle, Himeji, Kinki, Japan

the Imperial castle… snow coated with a dramatic moon on a broad daylight..

Imperial Palace, Tokyo, Japan

And finally, this is one of my favorites… really makes me thought of diving down with no strings attached  (just like the scene at the end of the film, Crouching tiger hidden dragon where Zhang Zi Yi dived down *oww shivers*)

Kintai Bridge, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan

Nice pics. Try searching for HDR photography. It’s photography process/technique that you do to create stunning pictures. Good thing is you can do it with either an DSLR or a point-and-shoot camera. Just make sure you have a tripod or a really steady hand.

There are dozens of digital SLR cameras on the market today; however, there are few clear or consistent guides to which ones are the best quality and most reliable. Well, Which Digital SLR Camera? has personally tested and evaluated these digital SLR cameras so to give you an easy and simple recommendation of which ones you should choose and which ones you should avoid.

My God, these are such amazing photos. I really want to use one for a guest column I’m running on my blog at http://www.bigislandchronicle.com. Please let me know where you found these photos so I can track down a photo credit.
