Honto ni hisashiburi da ne!!!
Its been a long time since my last blog post, I terribly missed doing this. It’s just there’s a lot that’s been going around and time management is something I’m not really good at. Since I was on a strict diet, which gotten really out of hand, my cheeks got really bony and I looked like I’m in my middle 30’s. So to cover up my bulging cheek bones I started to add some carbs on my diet, but to maintain my shape I’ve committed into some total physically challenging stuffs. Weekend jogging, and after office hours badminton, and wall climbing, which really made my arms look so muscular instead. My schedules got a lil shaky coz these activities required lots of rest, but then I still have to study japanese, and every morning its always monday in my head – yes… I still have to go to work. And I wasn’t able to take good pictures… oooh! so many things to do, so little time…
Even though I’ve been too busy my love for visually enticing foods wont go away that easily. I had good time doing this effortless-looking panacota. bro loves it anyway. (Looks cute more than yummy isn’t it, though I really need to work out with the lighting to get good photos )
I dont know if I got the spelling right but what I know is that I’ve exceeded the taste of what pizza hut’s panacota has to offer. There, look at their mango version, actually I also did a mango version but no pictures taken, I dont wanna be a copy cat anyway… so I did my own strawberry version, the syrup looked like a pair of lips to eat your hearts out!!!

So I’m on digital slr hunt… its gotta be nikon d90 over canon eos 50d. Although the eos boasts 3Mp higher, the d90 is ok for a beginner like me. The price is a little softer and what I love about it is that it is the 1st ever digital slr to shoot HD resolution video… *saliva drips*
Looking at the photography portfolio in my tablet makes me dreamy again (listens to Utada’s Beautiful World). And yeah, I wanna share the images of prominent places in Japan (mentioned during class). I don’t know, just looking at these photos makes me so… (cant explain, its beyond words)

Can’t help but notice, why is it that the Indian dance involves so much head shaking… plus the hand movements are so intricate… yeah, I’ve been a choreographer… hiphop, jazz, ballroom and some cultural, but I’ve never been into Indian dance before… bro said Indians love to mimic their Gods, in every single way… (just like in Slumdog Millionaire) even when he talks to an Indian, there is stills the noticeable left and right head shake…

Warning: SLEX Bermuda triangle
I’m not in the mood to throw daggers, even though traffic really feels like chili on the a**. I bet you’ve lived long enough to know that the Bermuda triangle exists somewhere in the ocean… but hey, recently there’s a phenomenal formation of Bermuda spot (trying not to make it polygonal) somewhere on LAND, in the Philippines, in South Luzon Express Way, right before sucat exit…. So I grew tired of the slug race in coastal road and decided to go downtown alabang for an access to C5. Yesterday, of course it was another reeking Monday, traffic as usual unfortunately heightened by a massive human error. paints spilled on the hiway and the hiway crew have to clean it or else all vehicles crossing slex would have a set of multi colored wheel. Why (wtf?!) of all time of the day, does it have to happen that time. And just this Tuesday Morning, on the same spot, a car rammed into the concrete railings between the hiway. Can’t help but think that there’s something odd in that area… I dont know if three huge phenomenon, Bermuda triangle, Murphy’s Law, and Law of Attraction, decided to rendezvous in that jolly area during the best time of the day.

Ok, this is what happens in the Philippines… during pacman’s fight the hiway is like a clearing… as in TAMBLING!!!! sayang tapos agad laban… nireserve ko pa naman tong day na to para mapanood ni pacman… pero syempre proud parin ako kay manny dahil pinatulog nya agad si hatton… a career ended right there. Yes, narinig ko na naman ang super manly voice ni michael buffer…. parang buffer lang no… Buti nlng may onloine streaming, lugi mga nagbayad sa sinehan, parang umupo lng saglit at uwian na. Sayang hindi ako pumusta sa lower than 4 rounds, easy money sana. Channel 7… as in baha ng commercial, like 15 mins commercial, TAMBLING na naman. Natawa ako sa mcdo commercial ni mega ha, reminds of my script writer/director days. As usual, politiko na naman, gibo teodoro, oportunista para sumikat, it took forever para iispell nya ang apelyido nya… ay nku… allergic lng tlg ako sa politicians…

The first shizen orchestra ever… ROCKS! and forgivable… kahit hindi ganun kalaki ung event masaya naman and for their first, considered 10 is the highest, I’ll give it an 8. 6 (may decimal pa ha). Malaki ung place, very exclusive and hindi gaanong marsh pit like (yeah, unlike the death defying & chuunin-shiken-exam-like entance of Hero/otakuzine/toycon big events). So I think para lang talaga sa mga taong in the know… sayang hindi ko gaano nalaman ng mas maaga ung tungkol sa event, sana nakasali ung band ng barkada ko… rockistas from the mount of olympus. I mean rock gods… kc anggaling talaga ng musicality nila, but busy sa kanya kanyang buhay… some have heard of them, the OTAKUPS, kc nanalo na sila sa mga battle of the bands. I dont know kung open for all ung bands na tumugtog sa event, or kung exclusive lang sa mga Atenista and friends… Usually sa events wala ako pakelam sa anime goodies, kc kaya ko naman mahanap sa internet lahat un… merchandise, madami din. Ung toki-doki-kisaten, hindi ko gaano napansin ung maids and butlers… I dont know, cguro kc late na kame dumating kaya hindi ko na sila nakita in action, and I thought there would be an area kung san may cafe,,, pero parang wala, oh please! give me a post kung meron ba talaga or wala…
Any way, I enjoyed it a lot, as in literally enjoy talaga. That’s because nakasakay ako sa:

As in… una, nakikipagpicturan lang kami with the cosplayers… tapos nakita namin si ban midou na hawak ang flag ni Luffy tpos sumunod si neji at aun nagsipila na ang makukulit na cosplayers! that’s how it all started, nadaanan at namagnet kami sa train na un, nasandwich between Rock Lee and Miku! lols! roamed around the hall inside and out while randomly shouting yaho! and gyabo! and kahit hindi ka cosplayer like cos-trippers like us or kahit hinde, ride ka lang! Eto pa, ang pinakamasaya dun, kapag may nakasalubong kaming bunch of nikon cameras with their photographers of course, ”count down na! 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-yey!!!” so every ”photo train stop” meron kaming more than 10 photos!!! at kasali ako lahat dun!!! LOLS! It was crazy… talagang bumaba pa ung train sa escalator, akala namin hanggang baba magiingay parin, ”U-OH! jaa, shizuka ni” tapos wla lang, umakyat din ng same escalator! haha! angkulet! while APIRan ng mga paakyat sa mga pababa.. hek3! mga adik!

maki sushi galore…
yey! I finally got to post here my colorful sushi creations… I really had fun doing these… I dont know if this is the right way to create a tamago sushi but see, I made it… in irregular sizes.. lols… I mean it’s like small big and big big
grilling the salmon for a new sushi recipe… sliced off the skin…
this one really excited me, its my first time to try the salmon/mango, suggested by my friend who travels alot… although I haven’t check the internet for what a tamago sushi or salmon/mango sushi should look like… I think I was able to make a version of my own, and was able to exceed my friend’s expectation, he actually liked it but I dont know if he’s lying or what (lols, I doubt myself)… btw, he owes me a comment in this post.
Lols, I enjoyed arranging this although its quite difficult to do the inverted sushi technique (because the rice sticks on the surface and I really have to do lots of reshaping…) and it seems that the rice became so thick… I love the color of ebiko… orange. It’s my favorite color for the summer.
Stuffs I love to hate (>,<
I was thinking of making a list of top 10 stuffs I love to hate… but I’m that much type of a hateful person…. But these stuffs aren’t really making my life get better…
- Being stuck in the traffic. WTF! What the F! I hate it, and I hate how people around me believes that they can’t do anything about it >_<! …According to a japanese office mate, Japan used to be like this. Back then it was like Manila for the traffic, but then because of the good governance of trust-worthy leaders, everything was changed for the better. The trains are always on time, even the buses. Oh! Paradise.
- Filipino government and politicians. The corrupt pigs nosing around, I mean, how can they stomach living comfortably from the money of the taxpayers who are stuck in this freaking system. I would love not to vote for 2010 anymore… its like, choose the people who would spend-your-money next. I know there are other people, from other countries, who would read my blog but I’m so sorry I just can’t help it. This would be a rather long post if I’m gonna mangle some more of my disgust for the system. So I’d rather hold my horses for now *smirks*
- Frogs. My beloved summer is bidding its farewell, too early for that… but rainy days are coming, the rise of the lycan frogs is dawning, and once again I have to be in vigilante mode again. My house has a garden at the back, with lots of vegetation… and that’s a huge a** problem coz frogs just go leaping and oh they look so disgusting. Honestly I have a ranidaphobia, a.k.a the fear of frogs >_<! Show me a cockroach and I’ll smash it, show me a lizard and I’ll scream, show me rat and I’ll throw it back to you, show me python and I’ll be glad to strike a pose with it, but if you ever show me a frog, you might just kill me on the spot. This is something that’s very hard for me to overcome. Even if I have to mingle with frogs in the reality show Fear Factor, to win $10,000,000, oh please, no. NO THANKS! And if I would be in an anti-frog video game, instead of zombies or undead like resident evil or silent hill, given a chance for my choice of weapons, I’d love a have a double beretta, doubles the fast kill… a bio-hazzard suit and a jar of salt please.
- Rude people. Just like what the House Bunny said, ”I love long walks and hate rude people”… they’re everywhere, and they don’t know that they are rude, so they should go to hell.
- Telenovelas. The local telenovelas… some are good but some are downright trash. When I hate something, I can just ignore it but Mom is an avid fan of whatever emo telenovelas… sometimes if I would sit with her, I’ll find her so glued to these tv soaps…. in which the events are so unreasonably laid back, very low production costs, bad story lines and poor acting skills. The events are so unreasonable… I mean, why is everybody so angry? why would she scandalize a person in a party? why would they fight over a not so good looking guy? why be angry with a guy friend if he happens to be your secret admirer? (->very corny, it just sounds so high school), why would she hire goons and kidnap the girl of the guy she want? and if everybody hates you and does bad things against you, would you just mope around? Is that what the TV stations want the Filipinos to be? watch us and be unreasonably emotional? gimme a break. Dont they know anything about the Law of Attraction? why show lots of negativity and sadness if its going to induce more of it in the people’s lives?
Of course I can’t hate my mom for being such a telenovela fan… she’s just waiting for the late night chinovela which happens to be a top rating one.
